2. Overview

This website is implemented as a static site and loads no external fonts and no CDNs. For audience measurement we use the self-hosted analytics tool Matomo – cookieless and without sharing any data with third parties (see “Audience measurement”).

3. Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary data:

Server logs: IP address, timestamp of access, requested resource, browser type. This data is collected to deliver the site and ensure its operation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

4. Audience measurement (Matomo)

We use Matomo, self-hosted open-source analytics software, to evaluate the use of this website statistically. Matomo runs on our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties.

  • No cookies: Matomo is configured so that no cookies are set. Consent (a cookie banner) is therefore not required.
  • IP addresses are processed only in anonymised/truncated form for the analysis.
  • No cross-site tracking is performed; the data serves solely to improve this site.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a needs-based design of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to collection at any time via your browser (e.g. “Do Not Track” or by blocking the script).

5. Cookies

This website uses no cookies and no tracking.

This site contains affiliate links to hosting providers (including netcup). Only when you click such a link are you redirected to the respective provider; their privacy policy applies there. No data is transmitted to the provider beforehand.

7. Purpose of processing

The data processing serves solely to provide this service and to statistically evaluate its use. No profiling and no disclosure to third parties takes place.

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing and appropriately designing the website).

9. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact the controller for this purpose.

10. Retention period

Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
