netcup Voucher & Coupon Codes: up to 2 Months Free

The codes on this page come from our own netcup partner account. There are two kinds: free months, each tied to exactly one plan, and a €5 voucher (coupon code) for new customers that works for every VPS and root server plan except VPS Lite. One of them counts per order.

All netcup voucher codes at a glance

Click a code and it’s on your clipboard. Redeem free-month codes in an empty cart – they add the server with a 12-month term themselves and are used up as soon as they’re redeemed, even without an order. If one is taken, another code fetches the next one.

Which netcup voucher is worth it?

The maths is simple, because netcup allows only one voucher per order:

• If your plan has a free-month code and you want a 12-month term, take it. One month of VPS 1000 is worth about €14.50, two months of RS 1000 about €43 – both well above the €5.95 the €5 code deducts.
• If you’d commit to 24 months, take the €5 code instead. The free-month code brings its own promotional product with a 12-month term. For the VPS 1000 that means: first month €0, then €14.50, i.e. €159.50 in the first year. With a 24-month term the same VPS 1000 costs €12.32 a month, i.e. €147.84 in the first year, and the €5 code takes off another €5.95 (€5 plus VAT): €141.89 instead of €159.50. This holds for every plan with free months; it is closest for the RS 1000 with two free months (€215.69 versus €217.30). Keep in mind: netcup bills the 24-month contract in advance, for the VPS 1000 €289.73 at once (24 × €12.32 minus €5.95).
• For VPS 500, RS 500, RS 4000, RS 12000 and RS 16000 there is only the €5 code.
• For VPS Lite, pico and nano there is no voucher at all – netcup excludes them.

The conditions – verbatim

netcup doesn’t state its voucher rules in the terms and conditions but right at the voucher field in the cart* . There it says:

“Vouchers do not apply to domains, VPS ARM, VPS Lite and merchandise. Only one voucher can be redeemed per order. The order value must be higher than the voucher amount. Please also note any additional information provided on the respective product page.”

How to redeem a netcup voucher code

Important first: only redeem a code when you really want to order. A free-month code is used up as soon as it’s redeemed in the cart, even if you don’t order.

Free-month code (plans with “1 month free” or “2 months free”):

1. Copy the code – one click on the code in the table above.
2. Open the empty cart – via To the cart in the table. Do not add the server yourself first.
3. Paste the code under “Redeem voucher” into the “code” field and click “Redeem”. The code adds its own promotional product to the cart, with a 12-month term and €0 for the first month. If the plan was already in the cart, there are two servers afterwards. Delete the one you added yourself.

€5 code (plans without free months – and any plan with a 24-month term):

1. Copy the code – it’s in the table below the plans. Then add the plan with the term you want on its product page – the cards in the server comparison lead there.
2. Paste it in the netcup cart* under “Redeem voucher”. netcup confirms with “Voucher … successfully redeemed”. This works even with an empty cart.
